Recently it has been a lot of bad press about BP for the oil spill. My question is, Do we stop using BP gas until they can get their act together? But if we do that are we hurting BP? Or the small business owner who lives in your community who runs the gas station? What a topic?!?! This is exactly why I have this blog. I want to stop using BP fuels because they can spend some of the hundreds of millions of dollars in their bank accounts to clean up this mess. On the other hand I see the owner of my local BP station with his wife and children in the grocery store and wonder how this is affecting him. It is not his fault so why should he be penalized? What do you think? Do we boycott and send them a message that we are not sitting down on this one? Or do we do nothing and hope it works out for the best? Then consider the fisherman who has no way of feeding his family during this time. Shouldn't he be compensated for his lost earnings? Come on BP spend some of the $61 million a day profits...
